I'm not from the area so I'm not sure of the history of the Christmas Tree Festival. Ryan has told me Ogema is one of the leading Christmas tree producers in WI and the festival kicks off the busy season. There is a parade in the morning. Lots of craft sales. This year they even had a few rides for the kids. There is a chicken dinner put on by the Lion's Club. A run up to Timm's Hill called "Race to the Peak" and a Christmas Tree competition to judge the nicest (undecorated that is) tree from the area.
Sawyer and Grandma watching the parade start.
Some babywearing
Candy!!
After the parade and a chicken dinner we went to the family farm to spend some quality time with Ryan's aunts and uncles and to check out how high the river was after all the flooding.
Danica was very happy to get some time to play
