Ever feel like you need an extra pair of hands?

Turns out mine were here the whole time.  I just needed to give him the opportunity.

Landon offered to help feed Danica.  I was skeptical that he could do it but I figured what's the harm in letting him try.  I showed him how much to put on the spoon and told him to give her a little time in between bites so she could "chew" and swallow.  He did a fantastic job.  He even got a paper towel to wipe her chin between bites ♥.

Christmas Tree Festival

I'm not from the area so I'm not sure of the history of the Christmas Tree Festival.  Ryan has told me Ogema is one of the leading Christmas tree producers in WI and the festival kicks off the busy season.  There is a parade in the morning.  Lots of craft sales.  This year they even had a few rides for the kids.  There is a chicken dinner put on by the Lion's Club.  A run up to Timm's Hill called "Race to the Peak" and a Christmas Tree competition to judge the nicest (undecorated that is) tree from the area.

Sawyer and Grandma watching the parade start.

After the parade and a chicken dinner we went to the family farm to spend some quality time with Ryan's aunts and uncles and to check out how high the river was after all the flooding.

I ♥ Autumn

Fall is my absolute favorite season.  Last weekend Ryan, Sawyer, Danica, and I made our yearly trip up to Timm's Hill.  The view from the tower is amazing. I never get tired of the hike up the big hill to enjoy it.
