Propane costs what???!!!

The snow is starting to fly around here so we enjoyed some of the last fall weather Friday while we finished splitting and stacking our winter wood supply. Danica played and Sawyer ran the wood splitter for me.

A New Dress...

I have seen a few of these online and I thought they were cute.  I didn't think they would be hard to make and I had a bunch of cotton interlock in one of my craft totes. So I found a tutorial on youtube and ....Voila!

I wish...

Almost 3 months have passed

Since I saw you last

but you weren't there

this life you couldn't bear.

this pain to us that you have dealt.

I know then you wouldn't have conceded.

You would have realized just how much you're needed.

I wish I would have seen the clues.

That doctors hadn't thought it just a ruse.

I wonder if you'd just held on a little longer.

I'm sure we could have made you stronger.

those hopeless thoughts I could have dispelled

How could we not be worth staying?

The boys, they so miss playing.

The one man I thought would never leave

has done just that not believing eternally I'd grieve

About a month ago I received a denial letter from our insurance company for my second month of IV antibiotic treatment for my Lyme disease (to the tune of $4,000).  They stated it was outside the standard protocol for Lyme disease treatment.  One month should have been sufficient.  I had gotten pre-approval before I even got the medication.  I called my doctor to let her know what was happening and she was quite irritated with my insurance company and agreed to write a grievance letter on my behalf.  I got a copy today.  I love my doctor!
